Terms of service
Last updated 28 August 2026
These terms cover your use of LeagueOwl, which is operated by Lambert Digital Ventures LLC. Using the app or the website means you accept them.
Who can use it
You must be an adult to hold an account. Children do not have accounts — a parent or guardian registers them and manages their information. You are responsible for what happens under your account, so keep your sign-in to yourself.
Your league, not us
Each league sets its own fees, its own registration questions, its own refund policy and its own decisions about who plays where. We provide the software those decisions happen in. If you disagree with a fee, a placement or a refund, the league is who decides — write to them, and we will help them find whatever they need in the system.
Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe and go to your league’s own account, not ours. We never see or store your card number. Refunds are the league’s to give and follow Stripe’s timing once issued. A league may also record a payment it took in cash or by cheque; that record is the league’s statement, not ours.
Messages
Leagues and coaches can send announcements to the families in their league or on their team. That capability is for running a season. It is not for marketing, for political messages, for fundraising unrelated to the league, or for anything targeting a family rather than informing one. We limit how often and how widely a single sender can send, and we can suspend an account that abuses it.
What we ask of you
- Give accurate information, especially about a child’s age and any medical need a coach may have to act on.
- Do not try to reach data that is not yours, or to use the service to work out who else is in it.
- Do not post a photograph of somebody else’s child that their family would not want posted. Anybody can ask for a post to be removed and does not have to explain why.
- Do not use the service to break a law, or to harass anybody in it.
Availability
We aim to keep the service running and to keep your data safe, but we do not promise it will be available without interruption or free of errors. Notifications depend on carriers, email providers and the app stores’ push services; we make every reasonable effort to deliver, and a schedule change is worth checking in the app as well as waiting for a text.
To the extent the law allows, the service is provided as it is, and our liability to you is limited to the amount you have paid us — which for a parent or coach is nothing, since the app is free for families.
Ending it
You can delete your account at any time from Account in the app or on the web; see how to delete your account. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, and we will tell you why. A league can remove you from its league, which ends your access to that league’s information but not your account.
Changes
If these terms change we will update this page and the date at the top, and any change that materially affects you will reach you in the product before it takes effect.
